Progetti: Cuckoo Wall Clock Uaigong
Cuckoo wall clock with Uaigong pendulum by Progetti made of lacquered wood in different colors. With this creation, designer Davide Tonizzo wanted to create a cultural bridge between China and Italy. Wàigong is the word in Mandarin to say grandfather. This clock revisits the pendulum from the ground or grandfather (grandfather) in a modern way. The fusion of the two styles can be found in the red and gold colors, typical of Chinese culture and in the very essential form that recalls Italian design. The mechanism is quartz running on batteries (not supplied) and different tones of volume (can also be turned off). The watch is equipped with a modern photosensitive sensor that makes sure that the cuckoo does not come out at night or in the absence of light. Sizes: L 20 x D 12 x H 78 cm.
