Vase 1 stem FNO-11001 by Bitossi Ceramiche made of glazed ceramic with a matt black finish. The vase is equipped with a small tray inserted in the base for flower irrigation. It is part of the "Green Line" collection of the famous designer Fabio Novembre. The latter was inspired by the demarcation line that in Beirut, during the civil war, separated the opposing Christian and Muslim factions. The name "Green Line" referred to the color that seemed to take on the road due to the growth of shrubs and plants through the asphalt. The designer wants to convey the message that even a flower can be reborn on human errors. 100% Made in Italy product. Sizes: W 23 x D 23 x H 40 cm.
The Bitossi company was founded in the second half of the nineteenth century in Montelupo Fiorentino in Tuscany. Today the company called Bitossi Ceramiche represents the historical excellence in artistic ceramics and design. A fundamental contribution to the stylistic evolution of the company was given by the master ceramist and sculptor Aldo Londi who started working in the company in 1935. In 1946 he was appointed artistic director of the manufactory, and his creations, exported in all the world, still represent the excellence of Made in Italy.
