Fan-9 vase with rips by Bitossi Ceramiche made of matt white ceramic. The design of this vase was obtained from the collaboration of 2 well-known Italian designers Andrea Trimarchi and Simone Farresin who created the Formafantasma Studio based in Amsterdam. The works of Studio Formafantasma are present in some of the most important museum collections, such as the MoMA in New York, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Metropolitan Museum in New York and many others. The Bitossi company was founded in the second half of the nineteenth century in Montelupo Fiorentino in Tuscany. Today the company called Bitossi Ceramiche represents the historical excellence in artistic ceramics and design. A fundamental contribution to the stylistic evolution of the company was given by the master ceramist and sculptor Aldo Londi who started working in the company in 1935. In 1946 he was appointed artistic director of the manufactory, and his creations, exported in all the world, still represent the excellence of Made in Italy. Bitossi Ceramiche has always collaborated with the most important exponents of international design, who are fascinated by the historical value of the company and the craftsmanship of the productions, creating unique creations.
